Replacing the Alienware
AlienHead LED board

Procedure
1 Adhere the Alienware AlienHead LED board to the display back-cover.
2 Route the Alienware AlienHead LED cable on the display back-cover and
adhere it to the display back-cover.
3 Adhere the tape that secures the Alienware AlienHead LED board to the
display back-cover.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 5 in "Replacing the display back-
cover".
2 Replace the display panel.
3 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 5 in “Replacing the display bezel”.
4 Replace the display assembly.
5 Replace the hinge covers.
6 Follow the procedure from step 5 to step 11 in “Replacing the palm rest”.
7 Replace the wireless card.
8 Replace the solid-state drives.
9 Replace the memory modules.
10 Replace the base panel.
