Removing the touch pad

Prerequisites

1 Remove the base cover.

2 Remove the wireless card.

3 Remove the solid-state drive.

4 Remove the rear-I/O cover.

5 Remove the computer base.

6 Remove the battery.

Procedure

1 Open the latches and disconnect the touch-pad cable from the system board

and touch pad.
