2. Provide the following element properties for the Dell Compellent Storage Array
system:
• Assettag—Required. Unique key or name for the Compellent Storage Array,
which is used to import or identify a Compellent Storage Array in the Active
System Manager. For example, Assettag Dell_Compellent_PS6100_1 (a
unique name) can be used to track the storage array in Active System
Manager
• Username—Required. Username to access and manage the Compellent
Storage Array.
• Password—Required. Password to access and manage the Compellent
Storage Array.
• IP Address—Required. IP address for the Compellent Storage Array.
For adding a new element in an existing Active System 1000 unit, click Add
Element, select Dell Compellent Storage Array, and provide required details to
initiate discovery:
