ServiceComponent
The ServiceComponent object contains minimum essential data of the resources or components in
Services. Resources that are described can be servers, storages, cluster, virtual machines, and
applications.
Attributes:
• id (String): The ServiceComponent identifier given by the ASM server.
• ip (String): The IP address of the resource.
• name (String): Name of the ServiceComponent.
• resourceName (String): Name of the hardware resource.
• serviceTag (String): Shows the service tag.
• type (String): The ServiceComponent type – value can be SERVER, STORAGE, CLUSTER,
VIRTUALMACHINE, or SERVICE (which are the application on servers or VMs).
ServiceFolder
This is a simple object used by the ASM vRO Integration for the maintenance of the inventory structure
and hierarchy.
Attributes:
• Name (String): Name is displayed in the inventory or finder. It is displayed as Services by default.
Template
This object describes the ASM Template with essential data about the Template.
Attributes:
• category (String): The category that groups the published Templates.
• description (String): Description of the Template.
• id (String): The identifier of the Template given by the ASM server.
• name (String): Name of the Template.
TemplateFolder
This is a simple object used by the ASM vRO Integration to maintain the inventory structure and hierarchy.
Attributes:
• name (String): Name is displayed in the inventory or finder. It is displayed as Templates by default.
