c. Align the screw holes on the solid-state drive bracket with the screw holes on the system board.
d. Replace the two (M2x3) screws to secure the solid-state drive bracket to the system board.

Removing the M.2 2230 solid-state drive
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SIM card.
3. Remove the microSD card.
4. Remove the base cover.
About this task
NOTE: You can refer the below procedure to remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive from SLOT 1 and SLOT 2.
NOTE: SLOT1 supports only PCIe Gen4 Solid-state drive and does not support any Intel Optane.
NOTE: SLOT2 supports only PCIe Gen3 Solid-state drive and Intel Optane.
