4. Patch the OLM les by copying all of the following les from the
E:\oracle_stage\ocfs9205\3575688\Disk1\preinstall_rac\olm directory to both of the following directories:
a. Directories:
%ORACLE_HOME%\bin
C:\WINNT\System32\osd9i\olm
b. Files:
crlogdr.exe
DeleteDisk.exe
ExportSYMLinks.exe
GUIOracleOBJManager.exe
ImportSYMLinks.exe
LeerDelete.exe

OracleObjManager.exe
OracleObjService.exe
oraoobjlib.dll

5. Reinstall the Oracle Object Service by opening a command line window and running the following commands:
a. OracleOBJService.exe /remove
b. OracleOBJService.exe /install
6. Restart all Oracle services from the Service Control Panel or by reboong all nodes.
Fix the CM Service Priority
The CM Service needs to be set to run at a higher priority on each node. This step may be performed at any me. To change the CM
Service priority, the following Registry entry must be edited on each node.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Soware\Oracle\Osd9i\CM
1. In REGEDIT, navigate to the key listed above.
2. Right-click on the right-hand pane, and choose New -> Dword value.
3. Enter a new DWORD value a name of “Priority” (no quotes).
4. Double-click the new Priority value to get the “Edit DWORD Value” screen.
5. Set the value to 2 (High priority) (Hex or Dec doesn’t maer).
6. Restart the service to make the change take eect.
7. To verify the change in priority:
a. Open Task Manager.
b. Go to Processes -> View -> Select Columns.
c. In the “Select Columns” screen, place a check mark in the “Base Priority” box and click “OK”.
d. Aer OracleCMService9i is restarted, highlight “cmsrvr.exe” in the “Processes” tab, and check that the “Base
Priority” is “High”, not the default value of “Normal”.
