Removing the GPU air shroud filler
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
CAUTION:
Never operate your system with the air shroud removed. The system may get overheated quickly,
resulting in shutdown of the system and loss of data.
3. Remove the GPU air shroud top cover.
NOTE:
The GPU air shroud filler must be removed to avoid interference with full length double-width expansion card
installation.
NOTE: The GPU air shroud filler must be installed, if single-width GPU card or empty riser is used.
Steps
Lift the GPU shroud fillers from the shroud.
