conditions are met. Any wireless stations that are associated to the AP may experience a loss of the AP during the scan interval.
When a foreground scan occurs, the AP will immediately reset and upon reboot will scan all the available wireless channels for an
extended period. A foreground scan will cause immediate termination of all and any connected wireless clients.

Open your web browser and log into your access point using it's IP address (for information on obtaining the Access Point's
IP address see
How to obtain the IP Address of the Access Point). The Enter Network Password login prompt appears.

Type the following text in the user name and password fields: "admin".

Click Advanced Settings and then click Rogue AP Detection from the drop-down menu.

To enable the background scan (always-on) mode of Rogue AP detection: Click to select Enable Rogue AP Detection
(Always-On). Click Save & Restart.

To enable the scheduled background scan mode of Rogue AP detection: Click to select Enable Rogue AP Detection
(Always-On). Click to select Schedule Rogue AP Detection and populate the relevant fields (i.e. Start time, Stop time and
specific day of the week) & Click Save & Restart.

To enable the foreground scan mode of Rogue AP detection: Click to select Enable Rogue AP Detection (Always-On) &
Click the Scan Now button.
Does the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point support notebook computers with
integrated wireless adapters and wireless adapters from vendors other than Dell?
Several computer manufacturers are offering integrated 802.11b/g wireless adapters as an add-on option. Additionally, there are
several manufacturers of 802.11b/g wireless adapters. If the adapter is WiFi™ certified, the adapter should interoperate with the
Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point.
Does the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point support alternative antennaes?
Yes, the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point has the capability to support alternative antennas as the existing
antennas are removable and are based on an industry standard connector.
Does the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point support Virtual Private Networking (VPN)?
No, VPN support is not applicable to a device that is already part of a corporate network.
Does the Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point support MAC address filtering?

The Dell Wireless 4350 Small Network Access Point can operate in a Macintosh environment; however, the web-based
configuration tool typically only functions with Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, both version 4.0 or higher.
Dell does not provide support for Macintosh environments.
