INSTALLATION
1. LOCATION -
Avoid operating units in small areas or near exhaust fans. Adequate oxygen is needed for combustion or
dangerous carbon monoxide will result. Stationary units should be installed in accordance with local plumb-
ing and heating codes.
2. FUEL SUPPLY -
Oil Fired Units: Fill fuel tank with clean kerosene, No. 1 home heating fuel, or diesel fuel (without anti-gel
additives.)
3. VENTING THE UNITS -
If the unit is to be used in an enclosed area it must be vented out.
The Draft Regulator (on oil-fired units) and chimney must be same size as
the stack on the cleaner unit. Poor draft will cause the unit to soot-up and
not operate efficiently. When installing the machine so the stack will be as
straight as possible, protruding through the roof at a sufficient height to
eliminate down-draft and to comply with local codes.
Always disconnect the battery when servicing your cleaner.
