Fire-Fighting Measures

Media:
Water, foam, dry chemical powder, Carbon dioxide.
Specific Hazards:
The material is stable under normal conditions. On decomposition gives off
carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other complex fumes derived from
organic accelerators, antioxidants, paraffinic oil and processing aids.
Special fire-

procedures
None identified.
Fire-fighter:
Fire-fighters should wear self-contained positive pressure breathing
apparatus (SCBA) and full turnout gear.

Accidental Release Measures
Small Spills:
Shut off all possible ignitions sources. Avoid contamination of drains,
sewerage and waterways. Collect and seal in properly labelled containers for
disposal as per local council statutory codes.
Large Spill:
As above, no additional precaution required, if in doubt advise Emergency
Services.

Storage:
Store in closed original container. No specific storage precaution required.
No known incompatibility with normal range of industrial materials.

stability of the product at normal temperature.

None required; however use of protective clothing is
good industrial practice.
Hand Protection:
If prolonged and repeated contact is likely. Chemical
resistant gloves. Recommended Nitrile.

Safety glasses with side shields.
