Service Adjustments
Adjusng Drive Cable
Iftens ionseemstobetoolooseortooght,the

cablesneedstobereadjusted.

1. Loosentheboltabovewherethecablescrews
in
totherightsideofthecontrolpanel.
2. Looseningthebolten‐
ablesthecableto
screwin
further,which
makes
theaugers/impeller
handleghter.
3. Adjusttheboltand
cabletothenecessary
adjustments.
Adjusng Augers/Impeller Cable
Iftens ionseemstobetoolooseortooght,the
augers/impeller,cablesneedstobereadjusted.

1. Loosentheboltabovewherethecablescrews
in
tothelesideofthecontrolpanel.
2. Looseningthebolten‐
ablesthecableto
screwinfurther,which
makestheaugers/
impellerhandleght‐
er.
3. Adjusttheboltand
cabletothenecessary
adjustments.
Adjusng Shi Rod
Theshirodwil lbeatapresetposionfrom
thefactory,butaeruse,ormaintenance,the
shirodmayrequireoccasionaladjustment.

Signsofadjustmentneed: 
1. TheshihandleismovedtotheF1posion,
andwhentheengagementhandleis
pressed,theunitdoesnotmove.
2. TheshihandleismovedtotheR1posion,
andwhentheengagementhandleis
pressed,theunitdoesnotmove.

Ifeitheroftheaboveoccur,itmaybenecessary
toadjustusingthefollowingprocedure:
1. Setthetransmissionhandletothespace
betweenF1andR1asshownontheright.
2. Loosenthe2nutsontheadjustment
turnbuckle.
3. Removethecoverplatefromthetransmission
housing
4. Adjusttherodbyturn ingtheturnbuckleunl
thefriconwheelalignswiththecenterofthe
