Step 4: Chute Direcon Control Cable Support
Withtherubberlinedstrapremoved,putthe
chutedireconcontrolcableandthechute
deflectorcableintotheopening,andpressthe
straptogetheraligningtheholeforthebolt.
Securestraptosideoftheengine.
NOTE:Rotatedischargechuteandensurethereis
nobindingofanycablesandthereisenoughslack
inthedeflectorcableforfullrotaon.

Step 5: Dri Cuers (if desired)
1. Thedricuersareaachedtothemainhous‐
inginthestoredposion.
2. Removethetwoboltsoneachdricuer.
3. Reaachthedricuersintheoperangposi‐
on.
4. Replaceboltsandsecu reghtly.
Step 6: Skid Shoes
1. Skidshoesarestoredinthehardwarebagforshipping.
2. Removefromhardwarebag,andinstallskidshoesusingthe
providedfasteners
3. Insertthefastenerssotheflatheadofthecarriageboltis
towardtheinsideofthemainhousing.
CAUTION:Checktheskidstoensurethattheaugerdoesnot
contactthepavedorgravelsurface.Adjustskidsasnecessaryto
makeupforwearonthesnowblower.
Posionskidshoessothatthescraperbladeiselevatedatleast
1/4”fromtheground.Thisallowseasiermaneuveringand
preventsdrag
onthesnowblowerwhenencounteringunseen
imperfeconsonthesurfacetobecleaned.
1. Checktherepressuretoensuretheresareproperly
inflated.
2. Moveskidshoesupanddowntothedesiredposionbased
onthesurfacetexture.
Ifthesurfaceisrougheradjusttheskidshoeslowerwhich
increasestheaugergroundclearance.
Ifthesurfacesissmootheradjusttheskidshoeshigher
(decreasegroundclearance).Firmlyghtenthenutsthat
securebothskidstotheaugersides.
