Please do not use any other AC adaptor with the DE1103 as this may
damage the rechargeable function of the radio.
You can check the battery level when the radio is first turned on, one of the
following ladder signs will display. The ladder sign will disappear when the
radio is in normal use. However, you may wish to press the “VOL” (18) knob
slightly to view the battery level signs again when the radio is in normal use:
If the radio is automatically turned off after turning it on when using
non-rechargeable batteries, the batteries are exhausted. You should
replace all batteries to prevent leakage of battery fluids.
If you are using rechargeable batteries, you should recharge the batteries
when the “Battery Low” sign is displayed.
BATTERY RECHARGE
When the rechargeable batteries, AC Adaptor (DC06) and the step-up
transformer are properly installed, you may start to recharge the rechargeable
batteries inside the battery compartment.
RECHARGE PROCEDURES
1. Put the rechargeable batteries inside the battery compartment of the radio.
3. Plug the step-up transformer into the AC mains socket, then plug the 220V.
AC Adaptor (DC06) into the output socket of the step-up transformer.
