Starting the engine

For starting a cold engine, move the throttle
lever to the START position.
When operation for 5~10 seconds,
the throttle lever is back to RUN position.
Lift the starting bail arm lever towards
the upper handle.
Release switch handle to stop the motor.

Rell the tank if the fuel level is low.
Refuel carefully to avoid overlling or spilling fuel.
Tighten the ller cap securely after lling.

For starting a warm engine, move the throttle
level also to the START position


Slowly but rmly pull the engine pull cord and rope out
until you feel resistance. Let the rope recoil, then pull briskly.
If the engine fails to start after 2-4 pulls, repeat the start
process. When the engine starts, return the starter rope gently.


