Problem Solution
If the lighting control is not
working, check the following:
Verify the device plugged into
the receiver is working.
Verify the door magnet
sensors are aligned properly
with the arrows matching up.
Verify the battery orientation,
noting polarity.
Replace the battery. Use only
12V type A23 Alkaline.
Check to ensure that the gap
when sensor pieces 1 and 2
are mounted is no larger than
1/4 inch.

Installing the sensor
Before installing the battery, make sure that the switch on the sensor is
in the “off” position.
Open the battery compartment on the sensor (B) and install the included
battery, matching polarity.
Use the mounting tape provided to mount the larger unit (1) on the
door frame. Next, mount the smaller unit (2) on the door parallel with
the larger unit. Ensure the arrows on the units are aligned and turn the
switch on the sensor to the “on” position.
Ensure the distance between the larger unit (1) and the smaller unit (20
is no more than 1/4 in. to ensure the product functions properly.
The device will now be turned on when the door opens and turn off 30
minutes later.

Replacing the battery
Remove the back battery cover on the sensor (B).
Remove the old battery.
Install a new 12V type A23 alkaline battery, noting the polarity.
Replace the battery cover.

Product Descrption
A. Indoor Receiver: Plug the device to be controlled into the grounded
outlet located on the indoor receiver.
B. Wireless Door Remote Transmitter: Attach the larger portion of the
magnetic sensor to the door frame. Attach the smaller portion of the
magnetic sensor to the door. Align the arrows on the sensors. When the
sensors separate the light will activate. See Installation Instructions.

Installing the receiver
Plug the receiver (A) into a standard indoor grounded outlet.
Plug the device to be controlled into the outlet on the receiver (A).
Ensure the outlet supplying the receiver (A) is powered.
Ensure the lamp or device is turned on.
