Thefan (1)takesintheair frombothsidesviathe coarsedustlter(2)ortheQuattro lter, re-

spectively.Afterpassingthehumidicationdrum,thepuriedairisledtotheairoutletgrill(5)and

distributed in the room.

The unit continuously measures the air humidity in the room with the integrated humidity sensor

andcomparesitwiththesetreferencehumidityvalue.Iftheactualvalue(e.g.40%rh)isbelowthe

referencevalue(e.g.45%rh)thehumidicationdrum(3)startsturning.Thevaporizermatisdipped

intothebasetub(4)andtakesupwater.Theairpassingthroughthehumidicationdrumabsorbs

the humidity.

Thecoarsedustlterretainsdustparticlesupto100µm.IftheDefensorPH28/PH28Aisequipped

withaQuattrolteritcanretaindustparticlesupto0.1µm.Inadditiontheactivatedcharcoallayer

intheQuattrolterremovesunpleasantodour.

Thewaterlevelinthebasetubismonitoredbythelevelregulatingvalveinthewatertank(Defensor
