ADVANCED SETTINGS

Adjust the system settings.
Default User: Select the user profile that will be used as the default, if not the admin account.
Auto Reboot: Enable the Auto Reboot function. This will automatically reboot the DVR at the specified time.
Reboot: Select the frequency in which you would like the DVR to reboot.
Update: Update the DVR firmware.
Load Default: Restore the DVR back to the default settings. Click Load Default, check the settings you wish to
restore, or select all. Select Save and the DVR will restore the settings.
Load Settings: Load settings that have been saved to a USB flash drive.
Save Settings: Save changes made.
NOTE:
Defender does not recommend updating the firmware unless directed to do so by a Defender representative. Installing the incorrect
firmware can cause issues with the DVR functionality.
NOTE:
Loading the default settings will not erase footage from the DVR. It will revert any settings to the factory default levels. This will include
the password. Once this process has started it cannot be stopped.
