EMAIL
Setup automated email alerts when motion is detected, and other system alerts.
Email: Enable to setup automated email alerts.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer): The standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between
a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers
remain private and integral. This setting will vary based on your email provider.
SMTP Port (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Port): This is commonly port 25. The DVR requires a five-digit
number to be entered. If the port your provider uses is not five digits, please add zeros in front of the number.
(Example: Using port 25, enter it as: 00025).
SMTP Server (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Server): The server your email provider uses.
Sender: Your email address.
Sender Password: The password for your email account.
Recipient: The email address you wish to receive email alerts to. This can be the same as the sender email, or
it can be different.
Send Limit: The interval in which emails are sent. The options are:
1 Min
3 Min
5 Min
10 Min
Test Email: Send a test email when setting up to ensure that the settings are correct.
Default: Restore the settings on this page back to default settings.
Save: Save the settings made on that page.
Cancel: Revert any changes, and exit the menu.

support department.
