TOOLS REQUIRED 1 WRENCH/RATCHET 13mm TAPE MEASURE Find the front mounting location as shown below. The driver's side is shown. Insert the small threaded plate [B] and center it in the opening of the square mounting hole. NOTE: THE BOLT WILL NOT ACTUALLY BE IN THE PLATE WHEN IT IS INSTALLED. IT IS SHOWN HERE TO HELP MAKE CLEAR WHERE THE THREADED PLATE WILL GO.
2 Thread a long 8mm bolt [H] into the large threaded plate [L]. Insert the threaded plate into the oblong mounting hole.
3 Slide the open end slot in the front brace on to the bolt in the large threaded plate. Align the other slot in the brace with the small threaded plate in the square hole opening. Attach with the short 8mm bolt [I] and washer [C], but do not tighten at this time. While pulling down on the front brace, tighten the long bolt with a 13mm socket. Then tighten the short bolt with a 13mm socket.
4 Find the rear mounting location as shown below. The driver's side is shown. Thread a long 8mm bolt [H] into the large threaded plate [L].
Insert the threaded plate into the obround mounting hole. 5 Thread a long bolt [H] through the slot in the rear driver's brace [F] into a threaded plates [L].
Insert the threaded plate into the round mounting hole. Then rotate the brace so the open end slot in the brace captures the previously installed threaded plate. While pulling down on the brace, tighten the bolts with a 13mm socket.
6 Slide two square head bolts [J] into the channels on the underside of the running board. 7 Line the bolts in the running board up with the slots in the braces. Place the board on the braces with the bolts through the brace slots.
8 Slide the board to the desired location from front to rear. A tape measure may be used to insure the board is centered between the wheel wells. Slide to board in/out on the brace slots to place the board an even distance from the vehicle. Attach the board to the braces using the flange nut [K]. Tighten all bolts with a 13mm socket. Repeat process for passenger side.
