ANPR
The ANPR Setup menu allows an allocated ANPR Analytics license to be congured. The ANPR
software can be set to function most effectively at Barrier Control (vehicles travelling at less than
20mph) or Normal Trafc ow (vehicles travelling in excess of 20mph).
It is important to set the Region data correctly. The ANPR software will use this information to
interpret the target number plates as efciently as possible.
Camera Select the relevant camera channel. Only those camera channels
assigned an ANPR AnalyticsCapable license will be available.
Trafc Type
The camera can be congured for different trafc monitoring scenarios;
‘Barrier Controlled’ or ‘Normal’. In Barrier Controlled mode, vehicles are
expected to be travelling at a speed less than 20mph. Normal mode
is intended for use in free owing trafc scenarios were vehicles are
expected to be travelling in excess of 20mph.
Detected Timeout (ms) This is the delay between number plate detection and a barrier
opening to allow the vehicle to enter/exit.
Note: The time is entered in milliseconds (ms).
IMPORTANT: The Detected Timeout function is only relevant when ‘Barrier Control’ has been
selected in the Trafc Type option.
