Object Left / Removed
Object Left / Removed is used to dene specic areas of the camera view where an alert can be
generated if an object is detected as being removed or added.
An AnalyticsCapable license enables this feature for all connected analogue cameras.
On a single camera, up to 16 regions of the camera view can be specied to be monitored for object changes.
Camera Options will congure settings for the camera. Region Options effect only the region
(detection area) currently being congured.
To size and position the detection area, use the mouse to click, drag and release the white selection
points in the corners of the detection area.
Camera Options
Noise Tolerance This sets the background ‘noise’ level which the camera will ignore.
Setting the noise tolerance level too low could result in a false alarm.
Dedicated Micros recommend that a well maintained camera viewing
an adequately illuminated scene should be
set at ‘8’.
Change Threshold This sets the threshold level for the rate of change required within any
region to trigger an alarm. The current image is compared against
the reference image (see ‘Detection Time’). The region specic values
for pixel or % change (see ‘Scale’) are then used to decide if a trigger
should occur. A lower Change Threshold level means that all regions
are more sensitive to change. Dedicated Micros recommend for a well
illuminated scene the Change Threshold be set at ‘10’.
