Activate New Feature
The Activate New Feature menu allows new AnalyticsCapable licenses to be added to your unit
and the Third Party IP Camera feature to be unlocked. It details the Features System Code that
Dedicated Micros Customer Services require to provide the Activation Code. Also detailed are all
advanced features currently activated on the unit (and the maximum number of each type of
license allowed).
IMPORTANT: To open the ‘Activate New Feature’ menu, navigate to the Features &
Text->Features menu and select the Activate (Purple) option.
Currently Active Features Any advanced features currently installed on the unit will be detailed
here.
Type The available variants of feature licenses will be listed.
In Use The total number of each license type currently installed on the unit will
be displayed.
Maximum This shows the maximum amount of each license type that can be
installed on the unit.
Note: AnalyticsCapable licenses are purchased per unit, with the exception of ANPR licenses
which are per camera channel.
Features System Code This code must be provided to the Dedicated Micros Customer
Services team (Tel [phone]) to obtain your Activation
code. On receipt of this information, DM will provide you with your
Activation code.
License Key Enter the License key details here. The License key will be provided by
Dedicated Micros Customer Services team.
Activation Code Enter the Activation Code details here.
Note: Both the License Key and Activation Code are case sensitive. Be careful to differentiate
between number ‘0’ and letter ‘O’.
