LIGHTNING STRIKE
The Digital Sprite 2 range has some inbuilt protection for lightning strike,
however it is recommended that isolation transformers be fitted to the system
in areas where lightning is a common occurs.

WARNING: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and,
if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user
will be required to correct the interference at their own expense.
If necessary, the user should consult the dealer or an experienced
radio/television technician for corrective action. The user may find the following

This reminder is provided to call the CCTV system installer’s attention to
Art. 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in
particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding
system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.

additional warnings associated with installing and operating the CD writer,

• Caution - Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous
radiation exposure.
• To prevent exposure to laser emanations (harmful to the eyes), do not
attempt to disassemble this unit.
