SPECIAL FIRE-FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Incipient fire responders

Contained Breathing Apparatus and full protective equipment. Isolate
materials not yet involved in the fire and protect personnel. Move
containers from fire area if this can be done without risk; otherwise,
cool with carefully applied water spray. If possible, prevent runoff
water from entering storm drains, bodies of water, or other
environmentally sensitive areas.

6. Accidental release measures
SPILL AND LEAK RESPONSE:
Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. vermiculite, sand, or earth), then place in suitable container for disposal. Clean up
spills immediately, observing precautions. US Regulations (CERCLA) require reporting spills and releases to soil, water,
and air in excess of reportable quantities. The toll free number for the US Coast Guard National Response Center is

DISPOSAL: Dispose of in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local procedures (see Section 13, Disposal
Considerations).
7. Handling and storage
WORK PRACTICES AND HYGIENE PRACTICES: Do not eat, drink, smoke, or apply cosmetics while handling this
product.
STORAGE AND HANDLING PRACTICES: Store in a tightly sealed container. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
Protect from physical damage.

VENTILATION AND ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Use with adequate ventilation to ensure exposure levels are
maintained below the limits provided below. Use local exhaust ventilation, and process enclosure if necessary, to
control airborne dust. Ensure eyewash/safety shower stations are available near areas where this product is used.
