Does HYDROSTOP Rigid Core LVT expand and contract like
Flexible LVT? What do I need to know about using transitions
and spacers?
Good news! Consider that all Rigid Core LVT expands and contracts at
about half the rate of flexible LVT, so plan transitions accordingly. Refer to
product installation guidelines if additional information is needed.
If HYDROSTOP Rigid Core LVT is 100% waterproof, can I use it
outdoor?
Rigid core flooring will not be harmed by water when exposed to it from
spills and normal cleaning. However use of the flooring outside exposes it to
other elements which will decrease the flooring time-life. If install outdoor,
should be always below a roof over the whole area.
Can I use grout with HYDROSTOP Rigid Core LVT?
Our flooring is designed as a floating floor which does not allow for the
application of grout.
Which is the wear layer of HYDROSTOP Rigid Core LVT?
It is 8 mils. It means a high performance and a very good protection againist
scratchs and wear.
