Always clean application equipment after use with water.
In diluted form, the DeckWise
®
Deck & Wood Cleaner Part 1 is
essentially non-irritating to your skin and eyes. It contains no
harmful acids or chlorine bleach. Although the diluted solution will
not damage vegetable life, always rinse with water after exposure.
This will remove any dried solution residue. Do not combine or use
with any product containing chlorine bleach (also known as Sodium
Hypochlorite).
Compatibility:
This wood cleaning product will thoroughly clean but not eliminate
petroleum or latex paints or stains which are in good condition.
This particular product is safe to most vegetable/plant life as well
as glass, brick, plastic glass, vinyl and aluminum siding, metals,
cement and most caulked areas. Always rinse surrounding surfaces
and plants and with water after direct exposure. When cleaned
surfaces are completely dry, wood may be coated with an oil finish,
waterproofing, transparent finishes, tinted stains or wood paint.
Storage:
Store any unused cleaner concentrate in the original labeled
container with the lid closed tightly. Never store mixed cleaning
solution in an airtight container. This will avoid possible excess
pressure accumulation.

Ash. Avoid contact with eyes with protective eye wear as well
as extended contact with skin. Concentrate powder is harmful
if ingested. Always store any unused concentrate in the original

Brush Method:
Brush (recommended method): Scrub wood surfaces with rigid,
short-bristle brush, utilizing reasonable pressure when scrubbing.
Do not use a wire brush.
Pressure Wash:
For hardwoods, use 500-1,000 PSI to be certain no damage is
done to the wood. It is recommended to use a 40° tip and 1,500-
2,500 PSI for pressure treated woods. Always move lengthwise
with wood to prevent cut marks in the grain - preferably 18+
inches away. Both methods help to ensure aged surface is totally
eliminated.
Rinse:
If pressure washing is not employed after brushing, rinse
thoroughly with a garden hose, using the highest pressure nozzle
setting available. On a vertical surface, continually rinse cleaned
areas to avoid streaking. Rinse any wood fibers off surrounding
surfaces immediately. When dry, wood surface should appear
clean.
CAUTION: Wet wood and coated wood surfaces can easily
become slick when wet. Always use caution when walking on wet
areas.
