Deck Tile 20 Year Limited Warranty
Thank you for purchasing the DeckWise® brand Solid Hardwood Deck Tiles. We are confident you will be
happy with the quality and performance of our products and we are proud to offer to the original
purchaser a 20 Year Limited warranty. Please refer to our terms and conditions for details.
Terms and Conditions:
DeckWise®, The Ipe Clip® Fastener Company, LLC warranties its solid hardwood deck tiles to be free of
defects in material and workmanship for 20 years in accordance with the terms. This will cover material
defects resulting in failure of the tiles for residential and commercial applications. THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY IS ISSUED IN LIEU OF EVERY OTHER EXPRESSED AND ALSO IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
COUNTING THE WARRANTY OF FITNESS, AS WELL AS EXPRESSLY OMITS LIABILITY FOR ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
The terms of this warranty state that when used in applications and installed per fastener
manufacturer’s instructions and as suggested on the www.deckwise.com website, our deck tiles are
guaranteed to resist rot for 20 years from original purchase date.
This warranty does not cover damages from improper installation, abuse, alteration, disasters, misuse
and treatment in manner other than as intended. This warranty does not cover costs of removal,
installation, reinstallation, decking materials, installation tools, and assumes no loss of use, liability for
incidental or consequential damages. No claims shall be accepted for the following reasons: cupping,
checking, splitting, twisting, shrinking, staining, warping, discoloration, mold, fungus, or insect attack.
Material covered must not be in direct contact with ground or standing water and must be used in a
design which allows for adequate airflow under deck boards and not subject to any moisture issues or
standing water.
Any claims must be submitted in writing to DeckWise®. Material must be installed at location of original
delivery addressed too by DeckWise®, unless previously agreed upon in writing. Installation shall only
contain solid hardwood deck tiles purchased from DeckWise®, unless previous written acceptance of
notification is obtained from DeckWise® no later than 7 days from original purchase date. If jobsite is to
contain solid hardwood deck tiles from prior suppliers, post suppliers or mixed sources; prior jobsite
photo documentation and verified written notification to DeckWise® shall be made stating that the solid
hardwood deck tiles to be warranted is in proximity to solid hardwood deck tiles purchased from other
suppliers. DeckWise® reserves the right to demand and require further documentation of jobsite uses if
deemed necessary to clarify location of proximity of hardwood deck tile material used from other
sources.
Through purchase, customer agrees and accepts that any and all claims shall be limited to the original
purchase price of the product, less shipping cost. If rot is apparent, DeckWise® shall reserve the right, at
its sole option, to either refund the original purchase price of the claimed solid hardwood deck tile
material or replace claimed boards. Purchaser agrees to supply DeckWise® Company adequate high-
resolution photographs and sample documentation of claimed material said to be affected by rot.
