Limited Lifetime Warranty
Thank you for purchasing the DeckWise® brand Ipe Oil
TM
hardwood finish. We are confident you will be
happy with the quality and performance of our products and we are proud to offer to the original
purchaser a limited lifetime warranty. Please refer to our terms and conditions for details.
Terms and Conditions:
DeckWise®, The Ipe Clip® Fastener Company, LLC warranties its Ipe Oil
TM
to be free of defects in material
and workmanship for lifetime in accordance with the terms. This will cover material defects resulting in
failure of the fasteners for residential and commercial applications. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ISSUED
IN LIEU OF EVERY OTHER EXPRESSED AND ALSO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, COUNTING THE WARRANTY OF
FITNESS, AS WELL AS EXPRESSLY OMITS LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This warranty does not cover damages from improper installation, abuse, alteration, disasters, misuse
and treatment in a manner other than as intended. Warrantor’s lone obligation is limited to
replacement of the DeckWise® Ipe Oil
TM
and Warrantor shall have no further liability or obligation
except as purposely stated in this document. This warranty does not cover costs of removal, installation,
reinstallation, decking materials, installation tools, and assumes no loss of use, liability for incidental or
consequential damages.
Failure to follow the instructions, requirements and recommendations or warnings provided with the
DeckWise® Ipe Oil
TM
shall make the warranty invalid. DeckWise®, The Ipe Clip® Fastener Company, LLC
reserves the right to investigate any claim. Decking applications using this product must comply with all
local zoning and/or building codes. DeckWise®, The Ipe Clip® Fastener Company, LLC does not assume
any risk or liability associated with the use of the DeckWise® Ipe Oil
TM
product. Wearing proper safety
equipment and other necessary precautions should be taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved
in the project.
WARNING:
Do not leave rags piled up, they will catch fire or self-combust. Rags, brushes, rollers, steel wool or
waste soaked with Ipe Oil™ hardwood deck finish may also spontaneously catch fire if improperly
discarded. Immediately after each use, place waste materials in a sealed, water-filled metal container.
Dispose of empty cans or unused portion in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
DeckWise® Ipe Oil™ deck finish is intended for exterior use only. Use product as directed.
Warranty Registration:
To be eligible to make a warranty claim you must have completed the warranty registration here on the

Make Your Claim:
Prepare a letter with the following information for replacement product: online warranty registration
card properly registered within 60 days of purchase (can be printed and mailed or faxed), proof of
purchase (copy of receipt) with location and date of purchase, reason for the claim and the quantity and
