DECK-TOP ADHESIVE INSTALLATION:
1. Hybri-sil is the Deck-Top approved adhesive and manufactured by Bostik. It has been professionally tested by them
from 140⁰ to -30⁰. Hybri-sil adhesive has been vigorously tested against cold and warm weather conditions.
2. Hybri-sil information:
Application Temperature: 0°F to 140°F
Shrinkage: 0%
Skinning Time: 15 minutes
Cure Time: 24/48 hours
Temperature Resistance after Cure: -75°F to 350°F
Cleanup: Mineral Spirits
Shelf Life: 12 months
Storage Temperature: 40°F to 80°F
3. Apply a bead of adhesive on each inside vertical lip on the right and left sides of Deck-Top. Reference YouTube video.
4. On the underside of the Deck-Top plank, run a back-and-forth bead of adhesive (in a z-like motion) from end-to-
end over the full length of the plank. This will ensure proper coverage when Deck-Top is placed on top of your
decking. One 9.5 oz. tube of adhesive will generally secure up to 12 ft to 15 ft. feet of Deck-Top.
If any excess glue is applied to any other surface, clean the area immediately. Any uncured sealant needs to
be removed by using the manufacturers recommended cleaners. Bostik Specialty Sealant Remover or
Mineral Spirits are the recommended cleaning agents. Cured sealant is usually very difficult to remove
without altering or damaging the surface to which the sealant has been misapplied.
5. Place the adhesive-covered Deck-Top plank on top of a decking board with the adhesive-covered side
touching the decking board. If board is smaller than 5 ½” then slide Deck-Top from side to side for Hybri-sil
to touch sides.
6. Once Deck-Top is placed on top of the decking board, immediately apply pressure to the top surface from end to
end. If warped boards are not replaced, consider applying pressure with weight to hold until Hybri-sil is cured.
7. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions and recommendation on drying time before walking on your
new deck surface.

CLEANING
Deck-Top is stain-resistant. Common dirt, scuffs, or stains on the flooring can appear over a period of time, but
they can be easily cleaned away with soap and water.
For stains such as rust or other similar marks on the Deck-Top surface, acetone can be used for brief
periods of exposure to clean the area. DO NOT allow acetone to lay on Deck-Top for extended periods of
time. Rubbing alcohol can also be used for lighter stain issues. Be sure to clean the area with soap and
water immediately after using acetone, alcohol, and mineral spirits.
