3. Enter the key extender. The following table shows the keys which can be
assigned extenders, and the range of values allowed for each key.

4. Press the TRSF key to store the data and exit programming.
Note: Make sure that the cursor is placed correctly before you enter the e xtender.
TEXT MESSAGING (‘L’ VERSION SYSTEMS ONLY)
This feature must be programmed by the system administrator to allow your
keyset access to it. When you are on a call and you receive an Off Hook
Voice Announcement or Camp-On call, you may respond to that station with
a text message while continuing your call with the outside party. (For exam-
ple, you might select “Ask Them To Hold.”) The other station can view this
message and take the appropriate action or respond with another text mes-
sage.
