MMC: 506 TONE CADENCE
DESCRIPTION:
Provides the ability to customize the tone cadence on a system-wide basis. There are ten tone
cadences available. The tone control of the cadence may be changed from interrupt tone to
continuous tone. Some DCS systems may require default settings to comply with local operating
companies.

UP & DOWN Used to scroll through options
KEYPAD Used to enter selections
SOFT KEYS Move cursor left and right
SPK Used to store data and advance to next MMC

CONFM/BARGE DID RNGBACK RING TONE MSGWAT TONE
DIAL TONE HOLD/CAMPON TRSFER TONE
ACTION DISPLAY
1. Press TRSF 506
Display shows
BUSY TONE
CONTINUOUS TONE
2. Press UP or DOWN key to select tone
Press LEFT soft key and advance to step 3
TRSFER TONE
INTERRUPT TONE
3. Press UP or DOWN key to select tone control
Press RIGHT soft key to advance to step 4
OR
Press LEFT soft key to return to step 2
TRSFER TONE
INTERRUPT TONE
4. Dial in new value for interrupt times (must be four digits)
Press RIGHT soft key advances cursor
Press LEFT soft key retreats cursor back
If valid entry, system returns to step 2
TRSFER TONE:0100
0100 0100 0100
5. Press TRSF to store and exit
OR
Press SPK to store and advance to next MMC
