MMC: 424 S0 MAPPING

DESCRIPTION:

This program generates a table by which an ISDN termnial number is mapped into a BRI STATION

port.

For detailed description and other MMC-related procedure, please refer to "BRI RELATED MMC

PROCEDURE" of this book.

NOTE:

For each BRI access, two adjacent ports are assigned, so, you only have to map a number into one

of the two ports from a BRI access.

In this program you can map only one port to each number. That means you can't use a number in

more than 1 BRI access. In the meanwhile, more than one numbers can be mapped into a port and

used in a BRI access.

PROGRAM KEYS

UP & DOWN Used to scroll through options

KEYPAD Used to enter selections

SOFT KEYS Move cursor left and right

SPK Used to store data and advance to next MMC

HOLD Used to clear previous entry

ACTION DISPLAY

1. Press TRSF 424

2. Dial a ISDN terminal number (e.g.,7803) and use the

RIGHT soft key to position the cursor to bottom row.

or press UP or DOWN key to select the number.

3. Press UP or DOWN key to select a STATION port. As

you press these keys, only STATION ports will be shown.

Use the RIGHT sodt key to position the cursor under the

ISDN terminal number again.

4. For the other ISDN terminal number, repeat from 2. To 3.

5 Press TRSF to store and exit

Press SPK to store and advance to next MMC
