MMC: 414 MPD/PRS SIGNAL

DESCRIPTION:

This MMC assigns CO lines to be accepted either Metering Pulse or Polarity Reversal Signal on a per

trunk basis. Metering Pulse detection is required to install Metering Pulse Detection Unit on a trunk

card. Polarity Reversal Signal provided by the C.O may be arrived to the system when the other party

answers the outgoing call or the outside party clears the call when you are on a C.O line. If the trunk

assigned as PRS detection call duration time will be generated on an SMDR record once the PRS

has been detected. Moreover, PRS detection is essential for dropping C.O-C.O conversation with

unsupervised by the internal party.

2. Dial TRUNK number

Press UP or DOWN to select trunk and use left or right

soft key to move cursor

3. Dial 1 for PRS OR Dial 0 for MPD

Press UP or DOWN to scroll through options and use left

or right soft key to return to step 2

4. Press TRSF to store and exit

Press SPK to store and advance to next MMC
