Linearisation
The correlation between level and volume is
defined by so-called linearisation curves. If
there is a correlation in your vessel between
level (" Percentage value “ of the level) and the
volume (value of the volume) other than linear,
choose in the menu window " Conditioning “ the
menu item " Instrument data/Parameter ad-
justment/Conditioning “.
• Click in the menu window " Conditioning “ to
the menu item .
The menu window " Linearisation “ opens, in
which a linear correlation between percent-
age value of the level and the percentage
value of the volume is preadjusted.
Beside the two programmed linearisation
curves " Cylindrical tank “ and " Spherical tank “
you can also enter " user programmable
curves “. Linear means that there is a linear
correlation between level and volume.
