Output Level Switch
The Output Level switch sets the level for all Analogue Outputs. It should be
set to suit your system – there are two levels: High (6V rms) and Low (2V rms).
The difference between the two settings is 9.5dB. For best results, Elgar Plus’
Volume control should be set to no lower than -20.0 for normal listening levels
with typical music. We suggest you start with the Low setting and change to the
High setting if this is inadequate. Before adjusting the Output Level switch,
please ensure you are not playing music at a high level – the High setting is
noticeably louder.
