Do not defeat the safety pur pose of the polar ized or gr ounding-type plug. A polar -
ized plug has tw o blades w ith one w ider than the other. A gr ounding type plug has
tw o blades and a thir d gr ounding pr ong. The w ide blade or thir d pr ong ar e pr o-
vided for your safety. If the pr ovided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an elec-
tr ician for r eplacement of the obsolete outlet.
Pr otect the pow er cor d fr om being w alked on or pinched par ticular ly at plugs, con-
venience r eceptacles, and the point w her e they exit fr om the appar atus.
Use only w ith the car t stand, tr ipod br acket, or table specified by the manufactur e,
or sold w ith the appar atus. When a car t is used, use caution w hen moving the
car t/appar atus combination to avoid injur y fr om tip-over.
Refer all ser vicing to to qualified ser vice per sonnel. Ser vicing is r equir ed w hen
the appar atus has been damaged in any w ay, such as pow er -supply cor d or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the appar atus, the appa-
r atus has been exposed to r ain or moistur e, does not oper ate nor mally, or has been
dr opped.
POWER ON/OFF SWITCH: The Pow er sw itch used in this piece of equipment DOES NOT
br eak the connection fr om the mains.
M AINS DISCONNECT: The plug shall r emain r eadily oper able. For r ack-mount or
installation w her e plug is not accessible, an all- pole mains sw itch w ith a contact
separ ation of at least 3 mm in each pole shall be incor por ated into the electr ical
installation of the r ack or building.
FOR UNITS EQUIPPED WITH EXTERNALLY ACCESSIBLE FUSE RECEPTACLE: Replace fuse
w ith same type and r ating only.
M ULTIPLE-INPUT VOLTAGE: This equipment may r equir e the use of a differ ent line
cor d, attachment plug, or both, depending on the available pow er sour ce at instal-
lation. Connect this equipment only to the pow er sour ce indicated on the equipment
r ear panel. To r educe the r isk of fir e or electr ic shock, r efer ser vicing to qualified
ser vice per sonnel or equivalent.

The cores in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
GREEN and YELLO W - Earth BLUE - N eutral BROW N - Live
As colours of the cores in the mains lead of this appliance may
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the ter-
minals in your plug, proceed as follows:
• The core which is coloured green and yellow must be
connected to the terminal in the plug marked with the
letter E, or with the ear th symbol, or coloured green, or
green and yellow.
• The core which is coloured blue must be connected to
the terminal marked N or coloured black.
• The core which is coloured brown must be connected to
the terminal marked L or coloured red.
This equipment may require the use of a different line cord,
attachment plug, or both, depending on the available power
source at installation. If the attachment plug needs to be
changed, refer servicing to qualified service personnel who
should refer to the table below. The green/yellow wire shall be
connected directly to the units chassis.
W ARN IN G:If the ground is defeated,certain fault conditions in
the unit or in the system to which it is connected can result in
full line voltage between chassis and earth ground. Severe injury
or death can then result if the chassis and earth ground are
touched simultaneously.

The symbols shown above are internationally accepted
symbols that warn of potential hazards with electrical
products. The lightning flash with arrowpoint in an equi-
lateral triangle means that there are dangerous voltages
present within the unit. The exclamation point in an equi-
lateral triangle indicates that it is necessary for the user to
refer to the owner’s manual.
These symbols warn that there are no user serviceable
parts inside the unit. D o not open the unit. D o not
attempt to service the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to
qualified personnel. O pening the chassis for any reason
will void the manufacturer’s warranty. D o not get the unit
wet. If liquid is spilled on the unit, shut it off immediately
and take it to a dealer for service. D isconnect the unit
during storms to prevent damage.
