Call Functions
Turning your phone ON and
OFF
Press and hold for 3 seconds and then
release it.
Note
Always switch off your phone whenever it is
forbidden to use it or when it may cause
interference or danger.
When PIN is requested
SIM cards are usually protected with a PIN
code.
The PIN code usually comes with your SIM
card provided by the network operator.
1. Key in your PIN code (note that the
characters in your password are
replaced with “*”).
2. After you have entered the PIN code,
press
.
3. If you key in a wrong number, press
to remove the last digit. Press and hold
to clear the entire entry.
4. If the PIN code entered is incorrect, a
warning message will be displayed to
notify you of the remaining times for
entering the PIN.
Note
If an incorrect PIN code is entered 3 times
in succession, your phone will
automatically lock-up the SIM card and a
message will be displayed to inform you
that the SIM card is blocked.
Unlock the blocked SIM card
If your SIM card is locked, you will be
asked to enter the PUK code to unlock your
phone in order to continue using it. Perform
the following steps to unlock the blocked
SIM card:
1. Key in the PUK code, press
.
2. Key in a new PIN code, press .
3. Key in the new PIN code again and press
.
Note
The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code
is used to release and change the blocked
PIN code. If an incorrect PUK code is
entered 10 times in succession, the SIM
card will be blocked permanently. If the
PUK code does not come with your SIM
card or you have lost it, please check with
your network service provider for the code.
