Basic Call Operations
Handset
Your mobile phone is a radio transceiver. When
the phone is turned on, it transmits and receives
radio frequency (RF) signals
The internal and external front view of the
8055T handset are shown below:
1 headphones
2 LCD display
3 direction key
4 Power key/End call key
5 Alphanumeric keys
6 Charger port
7 Earphone jack
8 function key
9 Volume keys
10 Send key
11 Antenna
12 loudspeaker
13 Outside LCD display

15 digitally camera
Outside LCD display:
The outside display indicating the signal
strength, battery level, date and time, caller ID,
new message, missed call or alarm are shown
below.
Battery charge indicator: The longer
the bar, the more power is available in
the battery.
Signal strength: The longer the bar,
the better the signal strength.
Roaming.: Shown when registered with a
system other than the original one
(Inter-system Roaming).
Short message: Solid when there is an
unread incoming text message. Flashes
when the memory is full.
Missed call. Shown when there is an
unanswered incoming call.
Alarm. Shown when the alarm is set.
