3.5.1.3 Advance Setting of the H.323
The advance option of the GoIP involves the signaling and media, corresponding to “Advance
Setting” and “Media” respectively.
Select “Advance Setting” under H323, and the following setting page is displayed:
A. RAS Port
The RAS is the communication protocol between the terminal and the Gatekeeper. It is used to
transmit the registration information, login, broadband change, and the status between two H.323
unites. The RAS port can be used to specify the UDP and used with the router port for mapping.
B. Call Signaling Port (Q.931 Port)
H.225-Q.931 is a call control protocol of the H.323 for transmitting the call setting and
unloading information between two H.323 units. It is used to specify the Q.931 port (TCP) that
receives calls and used with the router port for mapping.
C. Media Control Port (H.245 Port)
H.245 is the media control protocol of the H.323. It is used to specify the port that receives the
H.245 connection (TCP) and used with the router port for mapping.
D. Fast Start
