DO HD app Setup
Troubleshooting Tips:
Download and install “dbell HD+” app from the app store
Power-up dbell using AC adapter, wait for dbell to start and Welcome you.
dbell is now in quick configuration mode, light will be flashing.
Connect dbell HD to your Network
Make sure your Smartphone or Tablet is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi
1 Open dbell app, Tap ‘Add Device’
2 Tap ‘SmartLink’
3 Enter your ‘WiFi password’ carefully
4 Tap ‘Start’. auto configuration will start, please wait until complete
If your WiFi password was entered correctly, dbell will connect to WiFi
and announce setup is successful Press the doorbell found
If nothing is visible, press ‘Refresh’
Trouble Corrective Action
• No lights at start up
• No flashing lights upon power-up
• Quick configuration doesn’t work
RESET dbell
1. Use Reset Key from the dbell box or find a paper clip
2. Remove Reset sticker at the back of dbell,
please don’t throw the sticker, reuse it.
3. Insert Reset Key or paper clip and Hold RESET button for 20sec.
4. dbell HD will make announcement, Reset to default and restart.

If your router cannot broadcast a good signal (above 50% at the dbell location),
you may consider connecting dbell to the router directly using Ethernet Cable.
Or you may use a Wi-Fi Extender to improve signal strength. You may consider
TP-LINK® WiFi Range Extender, Linksys® Wireless Wi-Fi Range Extender or
any other Wi-Fi extender available to you.

Installation Illustration
1 Remove existing doorbell
2 Check existing doorbell power, it must be 12VAC~24VAC, 0.5A~1.0A.
If you do not have power from existing doorbell, you may use supplied
dbell AC adapter inside your home to power dbell.
3 Connect existing doorbell wires to the dbell Jumper cable(a),
4 Tighten the locking screw to secure dbell

Connecting AC adapter to dbell
Adapter must be installed indoor
Warning!
If you have Front and Rear doorbells,
Rear doorbell must be disconnected
One Transformer can operate only one dbell
5 To Open - Pull out the existing doorbell chime cover
6 Remove the wires from Trans(T) & Front(F) terminal
7 Twist Trans(T) & Front(F) wire together and
use Marrette to secure joint
8 Remove wire from Rear (R) to
disconnect Rear doorbell
9 Place the cover back on the chime
If you need to extend the power cable
Use 2 conductor 18 AWG cable
Do not extend beyond 100ft.
