OPERATION
A. Operation Controls
Don’t attempt to start or operate the engine until you’ve been completely familiar with the location and use
of each control that is necessary to operate your EEC-approved Raider Max 175. You must know how to
stop it before starting and driving.
a. Throttle
The right foot pedal is the throttle that controls your vehicle speed. As the engine speed is above idle, the
clutch automatically engages and moves the vehicle forward. To disengage the clutch at any time, allow the
throttle to return to the idle position.
" Each time before starting the engine, check the throttle assembly to ensure that when you
push the pedal all the way forward, the throttle assembly is working smoothly, and when you
release the pedal, the throttle assembly returns to idle. Don’t operate if the pedal or throttle
linkage fails to return to the idle position.
" If you’re unable to correct the problem through lubrication, adjustment or replacement of worn
parts, please contact your dealer for assistance.
