Chapter 3 – Disassembling the Power Macintosh 7500 or 7600 Genesis MP38 ◆
Press and hold the motherboard latching tabs while sliding the
motherboard forward to release it from the case. Press on the
monitor connector at the rear center of the case to push the moth-
erboard forward.

If you have not yet removed the LED cable, this is the time to do
so. Move the motherboard to the rear of the case and prop it up to
provide clearance to work on the LED connector.
