The Brakes
The brakes on your e-bike are disc brakes. They generally provide for very ne stopping
and control. This is a very tested and well-designed technology, but even so, the brakes
will require servicing from me to me, and may have to be adjusted for tension.
When the brakes are acvated, tension increases and the clamps engage. This is a very
eecve and reliable way to stop a vehicle.
The Chain and Pedals
The pedals are connected to the rear wheel. Along with the chain, they provide a human-
powered drive train”. This is an important part of your e-bike. The pedals are not
removable and should not be removed.
