The Brakes
The brakes on your e-bike are disc brakes. They generally provide for very ne stopping
and control. This is a very tested and well-designed technology, but even so, the brakes
will require servicing from me to me, and may have to be adjusted for tension.
When the brakes are acvated, tension increases and the clamps engage. This is a very
eecve and reliable way to stop a vehicle.
The Chain and Pedals
The pedals are connected to the rear wheel. Along with the chain, they provide a human-
powered “drive train”. This is an important part of your e-bike. The pedals are not
removable and should not be removed.
