Amber indicator on gauge assembly with alarm
All gauges and gauge indicators shall perform prove out at initial power-up to ensure proper
performance.

To promote safety, the following telltale indicator lamps shall be integral to the gauge assembly and
are located above and below the center gauges. The indicator lamps shall be "dead-front" design that
is only visible when active. The colored indicator lights shall have descriptive text or symbols.
The following amber telltale lamps shall be present:
- Low coolant
- Trac cntl (traction control) (where applicable)
- Check engine
- Check trans (check transmission)
- Aux brake overheat (Auxiliary brake overheat)
- Air rest (air restriction)
- Caution (triangle symbol)
- Water in fuel
- DPF (engine diesel particulate filter regeneration)
- Trailer ABS (where applicable)
- Wait to start (where applicable)
- HET (engine high exhaust temperature) (where applicable)
- ABS (antilock brake system)
- MIL (engine emissions system malfunction indicator lamp) (where applicable)
- SRS (supplemental restraint system) fault (where applicable)
-- DEF (low diesel exhaust fluid level)
The following red telltale lamps shall be present:
- Warning (stop sign symbol)
- Seat belt
- Parking brake
- Stop engine
- Rack down
The following green telltale lamps shall be provided:
- Left turn
- Right turn
- Battery on
