TheSP1200menusystemprovidesasimpleinterfacethatallowsyoutoviewandmodifymostuseroptions. These
optionsincludesettemperature,sleeptimes,filtrationtimeandfiltrationperiodtonameafew.
Throughouttheentiremenusystemonlythreetouchpadbuttonsareused-DOWN,SCROLL andUP.Generally,
whileyouarewithinthemenusystemthelowerlineoftextontheLCDDisplaywillshowthefunctionofeachofthese
buttons.
Toaccessthemainmenufromthedefaultdisplay,presstheSCROLL button. TheLCDdisplaywillchangetoshow
theMainMenutitle.Eachmenuconsistsofamenutitleandseveralmenuitems-menuitemsarenumbered
whereasthemenutitleisnot.UsetheUP andDOWNbuttonstobrowsethroughthemainmenu.
Ifyoudonotpressanytouchpadbuttonsforoveroneminutewhileinsidethemenusystemthedisplaywill
automaticallyreturnbacktothedefaultview,howeveryoudonotneedtowaitforthistimeoutperiod. Toquicklyexit
fromthemenusystem,usetheUP andDOWNbuttonstoselectthecurrentmenutitleandpresstheSCROLL
button.
NotethatwhileviewingthemenutitletheLCDDisplaytextabovetheSCROLL buttonshows “(ESC)” toindicatethat
thefunctionoftheSCROLL buttonistoescapefromthemenu. TheactiontakenbytheSCROLL buttonis
dependentonwhichmenuitemisselectedandthisisreflectedbytheLCDDisplaytextabovetheSCROLL button.
Themenusystemcontainsfivesubmenus-User AlarmsMenu,Sleep TimesMenu,Maintenance TimersMenu,
MiscellaneousOptionsMenuand AdvancedOptionsMenu. Thesesubmenusareaccessedviamainmenuitems4
to8respectively.SimplyselectoneoftheseitemsinthemainmenuandpresstheSCROLL button. Youwillnowbe
inthegivensubmenu.Browsesubmenusjustasyouwouldthemainmenu-theinterfacefunctionsexactlythe
same.
Toselectanyotheritemeitherwithinthemainmenuoranyofthesubmenussimplyselectthedesiredmenuitem
usingtheUP andDOWNbuttonsthenpresstheSCROLL button.
Themainmenuisthetoplevelofthemenusystem.Itprovidesquickaccesstothesettemperaturesetting,user
timerandclock. Thefivesubmenusarealsoaccessedviamainmenuitems4to8.
Toaccessthemainmenufromthedefaultview,simplypresstheSCROLL button.Pleaseread “Navigatingthemenu
system” sectionaboveifyouhavenotalreadydoneso.

4) UsetheUP andDOWNbuttonstoselectthedesiredweekdaysthatthesleepperiodwilloperate. Thereare15
possibleweekdaysettingstochoosefrom-MondaytoSundayandvariouscombinationsofeach.
5) PresstheSCROLL buttontoconfirmthecurrentsettingandmovetothenextfield.
6) Repeatstepfourandfivetocarryonadjustingsleepstarthours&minutesthensleepstophours&minutes.
Tip: Asyoumodifythestoptimethehoursasleepfieldwillchangeaccordingly,useittoverifyyournewsettings
arecorrect.
When the SCROLL button is pressed to set the sleep stop minutes the minutes will stop flashing and if desired more sleep
periods can be st by repeating steps 6.
