Preparing Your System
Onremovingyourpressuresystemfromitscartonyouwillneedtopositionthe
Presscontrolmoduleontopofthepump.Onceinpositionontopofthepumphand
tightenthelockingnut.ThePresscontrolunitiscapableof360°rotationtoenable
themostconvenientpositioningofthecontrolpanel.
Rotary Coupling Installation
YourDaveyWaterPressuresystemisequippedwiththeconvenienceoftheDavey
RotaryCoupling.Thiscouplingallowsthepumpcontrollertobettedsimplyand
easilytothepumpdischarge.
Therotarycouplingisalreadyttedtothepumpdischargeport.Thecontroller
adaptornutisabletorotateindependentofthepumpadaptornippleandthusthe
completepump,thisallowsittobetightenedontothepumpcontrollerinlet.–see
illustrationbelow.Handtightenonlythecontrolleradaptornuttoensurearm
connectiontoyourcontroller.Theoringonthebaseofthecontrollerwillensurea
leak-proofsealbetweentherotarycouplingandthecontroller.
Theabilitytorotatetheadaptornutalsomeansthatthecompletecontroller,once
ttedtotherotarycoupling,canberotatedafull360degreesinthehorizontalplane,
withoutcausingthecouplingtounscrewfromthepumpoutlet.
Largelead-inonthreadtoensurepositivetmentand
overcomepossiblecrossthreading.
Controlleradaptornutrotatesindependentofthepump
adaptornipple,andhashandtighteningribs.
Pumpadaptornipplecanbettedtothepumpdischarge
andtightenedindependentlyofthecontrollernut.
LargesectionOringprovidespositivesealonpump
discharge.
Circlipretainscontrollernutandpumpnippleasone
assembly.
Only connect the discharge pipework to the discharge port.

riseinpiping;eliminatehumpsandhollows).
4. Nowateratsourceorwaterleveltoolow.
5. Valveonsuctionlinesclosed.
