Where to use Check Valves

Toprotectyoursystemfromdamage
causedbybackpressurefromhotwater
systems.Youshouldalwayshaveinstalled
onthehotwaterinletanapprovednon-
returnvalve.

The pumping of abrasive materials will cause damage to the pressure
system which will then not be covered by the guarantee.

Maintenance
Theonlyregularattentionyournewpressuresystemrequiresistocheck
thepressuretank’sairchargeevery6months.
Thiscanbecheckedattheairvalvewithatyregauge.Donotchargetank
toahigherpressurethan14kPabelowcut-in
pressuresetting.
Tocheckairpressureintank:
1. Switchoffpump.
2. Openoutletnearesttopumptoreleasewaterpressure.
3. RemoveairvalvecapfromtopofSupercelltankandchargetankto
correctpressureusingairpumpandcheckwithtyregauge.
4. Switchon.
5. Closeoutlet.
NOTE:
Yourpumpisdesignedtooperateasanautomaticpressuresystem.
Thepressuretankwillrequireaspecicprechargeairpressuredependent
uponmodel.
Whileyourpressuretankmayhavebeenprechargedinmanufacture,
theprechargepressureshouldbecheckeduponinstallationandevery
6monthsthereafter.Followtheinstructionsonthetank.Asaguide,the
prechargesettingsarelistedbelow:-
