atum’s TambourDoor™ is an ideal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
solution. Designed for Datum’s ThinStak®, Vu-Stak® and 4Post™ Systems, Datum’s locking
TambourDoor™ can be used with other brands* of shelving to ensure the security and privacy
of medical records and any other type of sensitive information. TambourDoor™ units can be used on
Datum’s letter, legal, X-Ray and binder size shelving.
The TambourDoor™ is easy to attach to existing or new shelving.** Each TambourDoor unit includes
two keys and ships via UPS.
TambourDoor™ housing unit
attaches the top of shelving along
with track and a base for an easy
assembly without taking apart
the existing shelving. Housing
unit adds 9" to the overall height
of the shelving unit.
A spring loaded mechanism and
a handle conveniently located
approximately 32" from the floor
makes for smooth, easy opening
and closing of the door.
Sliding door recesses back into
the housing unit for quick access
to file folders.
