the

jack supporting

the

engine

to

incline

the

engine

in

a

rearward

direction

sufficient

space

will

be

provided

for

transmission

removal

Remove

the

starting

motor

and

the

bolts

attaching

the clutch

housing

to

the

engine

Lower

the

jack

under

the

transmission

gradually

and

withdraw

the

transmission

DISASSEMBLY

When

disassembling

the

transmission

the

following

procedure

should

be

adopted

Since

the

casings

are

made

of

aluminum

alloy

be

careful

not

to

damage

any

of

the

castings

Drain

gear

oil from

the

transmission

Remove

the

dust

cover

release

the

withdrawal

lever

return

spring

and

remove

the

withdrawal

lever

and

release

bearing

from

the

clutch

housing
