replacement

parts

and
needle

seat
assembly
Perform
adjustments
as
necessary

and
fuel
pump
pressure
If
you
can
get
access
to
such
a
gauge
here

you
use

DIsconnect
the
center
high
tensIon
lead
from
the
dlStnbutor
cap
so
the
engme
cannot
start

Disconnect
the
fuel
Ime
leadmg
to
the
carburetor
at
the
fuel
pump

Attach
the
pressure
gauge
to
the
port
from
which
the
lme
was
dIS
connected
at
the
pump

Crank
the
engme
through
a
few
revolulions
and
observe
the
read
mg
on
the
gauge
If
the
readmg
does
not
meet
the
speclficalions
as
listed
In
the
chart
below
the
fuel
pump
IS
probably
defeclive
A
low
readmg
can
be
cause
for
poor
en
gme
performance
at
high
speed
Generally
when
a
pump
IS
defec
live
the
engme
will
not
start
or
wIll
stall
a
short
while
after
con
summg
the
fuel
that
remams

carburetor
